Come celebrate with your own musical performance!
J.S. Bach, the father of classical music, passed away on July 28, 1750, but that was only the beginning of his legacy. Countless other classical composers have since utilized the remarkable science, spiritual revelation, and musical independence that Bach discovered and manifested as the circle of 5ths. SMTA invites you to share in the celebration of this continuing legacy with your own performance of any choice of classical music from Bach to current repertoire; including your own, if you write classical music. Whether you are a beginner, a professional, an amateur, aspiring college student, or hobbyist makes no difference. We welcome your performance of your favorite classical music on any instrument. For pianists, yes, there will be a baby grand Yamaha piano at the light rail station: Roosevelt station.
