Common Interest Groups (CIGs) address members’ interests and needs directly, building on the extraordinary richness and diversity of our community of music teachers.

Our CIGs move SMTA beyond our monthly meetings, into members’ homes and studios all around the city, or online.

If you don’t see a group on a topic you’d like to explore, it’s easy to start your own! Just contact the CIG coordinator with your proposed topic.
